Touring the world´s flavours

 Until next Sunday, six restaurants of the county of Santiago do Cacém will be participating in the World Flavours Festival and offer specialities from Brazil, Italy, Cape Verde, Spain, Mexico and Thailand.
Organized by the local Town Council to promote the county’s tourism offer, the international gastronomy tour will be held at the restaurants «O Grelhador» (dishes from Brazil), «O Covas» (Italy), «Sport Bar – Kartódromo» (Cape Verde), «O Solar do canudo» (Spain), «A Cascalheira» (Mexico) and «Mesa da Vila – Hotel Vila Park» (Thailand).
Besides the exotic flavours of the menus, the festival will also include several entertainment initiatives, such as folk dances from Brazil, Thailand, Cape Verde, Mexico and Spain, Italian songs and theatrical performances on the streets.
